Calculation

  1. Revenue is $80. Product, postage and acquisition total $25 + $6 + $10 = $41.
  2. Payment processing is $80 × 2.9% + $0.30 = $2.62. Profit before allocation is $80 − $41 − $2.62 = $36.38.
  3. Monthly allocation is $120 ÷ 60 forecast orders = $2 per order.
  4. Profit after allocation = $36.38 − $2 = $34.38.

Result: $34.38 estimated profit.

Assumptions and limits

The 2.9% + $0.30 rate and zero additional transaction fee are manual assumptions. Monthly allocation is an average planning cost, not a charge on each incremental order. No refunds, duties or chargebacks are entered.

Manual single-order estimate. Payment rates vary by card, country, plan and contract. Enter your applicable rates. Processing and modeled third-party transaction fees include entered tax in their bases; remitted tax is excluded from revenue. No order sync, refunds, exchange fees or accounting reconciliation.
